An attempted replicate of Diego Riveras El Vendedor de Alcatraces.
I did this cake for my girlfriend's mom. she absolutely adores Diego Rivera. ...and she didn't eat this cake for her birthday, nor did she let us light the candles. the cake is still in the fridge. but, it's not 3D exactly. there is not full man present. i wanted to keep the illusion of him not being fully present. as if he's in the flowers. it was quickly done since i was working on a wedding cake at the same time. ALSO. cakes are meant to be eaten. |
